Description
This one was sewn from a vintage crochet lace with flower motifs and a netted hem, and could easily be worn with a jean jacket and sandals for a day out and about, or with a colorful slip, and a pretty bag for a dress-up affair
Waist cutout detail framed with scalloped lace
Pair with knee-high boots and layered jewellery for a polished seasonal outfit
Although these gowns were striking and sophisticated enough on their own, accessories were also added to increase their visual impact
Condition: This 1930s ladies dressing gown is in very good condition with no wear, tear or odour, but does have some various degrees of yellow staining to the covered buttons, probably the result of the metal rusting during laundering and staining the fabric covering (see last close-up photo)
